Location: Oswestry Leisure Centre, SY11 4QB

Working Hours: Easter Half term holidays. Shifts to cover operational hours 7:45am-6pm

Contract Type: Casual with futher opportunities 

Salary: £6.83 - £9.50 per hour depending on age

This is an exciting role which has been created for the holidays which you can be part of where you will work with your fellow team members to plan and deliver a safe, fun, and engaging program of sports, arts and craft activities that meets the needs of our customers who will be aged 4 to 12 years old during the school holidays.

Your days will be varied and will include providing activity sessions, coaching various sports, making sure the kids are enjoying themselves, are well looked after and have the best experience possible.

This is your chance to be involved in in a fantastic scheme keeping children entertained during the school holidays and you will go home each day with a huge sense of satisfaction at the difference you have made.

We share your passion for leisure, and we will offer a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities, including supporting you in achieving Swimming Teacher and/or Lifeguarding qualifications which will enable you to take on casual roles at your local Centre during term times and school holidays if you so wish. 

About you

First and foremost, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, communication and organisational skills as well as be comfortable working with children. We welcome applications from candidates aged 16 and above.

We are looking for candidates who are outgoing, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to be considered for this role.

Lastly, it’s desirable that you hold a sport specific, play work qualification, first aid certificate as well as child protection however this is not essential as full training will be provided.
