Working Hours: Casual Hours

Salary: £6.38 - £9.50

As the Catering Assistant, you will work within the catering team to achieve high standards of service and customer care at all times. You will ensure the food is hygienically prepared and served in accordance with standard laid down by the catering supervisor.  You will also make sure that customers are served promptly and efficiently and ensure that financial and cash handling procedures are complied with, as well as cleaning the catering area, pot washing and setting up food, so some food handling are also requirements of the role.

About you 

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Shrewsbury Sports Village pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required. 

Level 2 in food safety is desirable as is previous experience in a customer facing environment, however full training will be provided.
