Hoebridge is a busy Golf Centre based near Woking, Surrey. Hoebridge hosts several facilities including an 18 hole Main Course, 9 hole Intermediate Course, 18 hole Par 3 Course, Driving Range with TrackMan technology, Pro Shop, Gym, Pirate Golf and Bar, Restaurant and Function Areas.

We're looking for a Head Chef who is passionate and enthusiastic both about their food and developing their team. Working alongside the Food and Beverage Manager, our Head Chef will be responsible for maximising sales whilst maintaining excellent quality and standards.

The Head Chef plays a key role in ensuring excellent dishes are delivered every time for our members and visitors, and so we're looking for someone with an eye for detail and presentation. They'll also be a strong leader, who can lead from the front with proven experience of managing and developing a team.

Development is important to us, and with us being part of a large chain of Golf and Leisure facilities (BGL), there is also future opportunity to support the Group F&B Controller in developing company menus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day food preparation across Hoebridge Golf Centre and for controlling the food cost to sales budget.
  • Take the lead in food preparation and service for all our catered activities including golf days, meetings, functions and weddings.
  • Positively influence and develop a team of kitchen professionals, putting their continuing development at the forefront.
  • Work alongside the Food & Beverage Manager to develop new menus and create revenue plans to maximise sales and quality
