About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Officer to join our Princess Grace Hospital. Within this role, you will work as part of a wider Business Development Team providing first class operational and administrative support to Consultant users at facility and their colleagues within the department.

You will support with onboarding arrangements for new Consultants, facility inductions and orientation, market assessment and planning, management of databases, support and work on the development of operational pathways & procedures and will have the opportunity of being involved in a range of different projects and deliverables across our facilities in W1.

The role encompasses all areas of business development and identification of growth opportunities across a range of services and provides a great opportunity for either an experienced Business Development professional or someone familiar with hospital operations that is looking to move into a business development environment.

Skills Needed

• Previous extensive experience working in a similar role within a private hospital environment
• Excellent IT skills: competency using all MS office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to research, understand, and explain healthcare services' volume, utilization, and market data
• Ability to present findings, offer opinion and debate constructively
• Be able to produce accurate work presented to a high standard (suitable for submission to exec team/board)
• Previous experience communicating with Consultants

The Princess Grace Hospital has 127 registered beds, including 90 inpatient, 21 day case, 8 endoscopy, an urgent care unit and a Level 3 intensive care unit containing 9 beds, with 24-hour consultant cover and a high dependency unit. The hospital also has a several specialised centres, including; The London Breast Institute, recognised as one of the best private breast screening and diagnostic treatment centres in the UK; the London Digestive Centre, a highly specialised outpatient facility offering diagnoses and treatments for all conditions of the stomach, small and large intestines, liver, pancreas, and bile ducts; and The Institute of Sport Exercise and Health, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to sport and exercise medicine.
