Receptionist / Telephonist

Location - The Wellington Hospital - South

Maternity Cover - 12 month fixed term contract

37.5 hours/week Shifts between 7am to 7pm Monday to Sunday

Salary - Up to 23,500 + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

About the Role

There is an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist / Telephonist to join The Wellington Hospital - South. You'll act as the first point of contact and 'face' of the Hospital, the Receptionist / Telephonist providing support and customer service to patients, colleagues and clients, ensuring their first contact with us sets the tone of first class service and support. The role will involve meeting, greeting and providing information in a friendly, professional and hospitable manner and ensuring the smooth running of the facility by providing any clerical support required.

Skills and Experience:

• Great customer service skill essentials
• Meet & greet patients on admission. Giving a warm welcome to all visitors to the hospital
• Follow Covid protocols: Screening questions to patients & visitors - Sanitize hands regularly. Wear mask whilst on duty.
• Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the person or department needed in a professional manner
• Issuing staff security passes and access
• A part of the cardiac & fire response team
• Training provided
