Job - Senior Physiotherapist (Cardiorespiratory)

Location - The London Bridge Hospital, London

Contract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs

Salary - Competitive (dependent on skills & experience).

Job Description

The successful post holder will be responsible for a full clinical inpatient caseload, whilst also supporting the Clinical Lead Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapist and Inpatient Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Lead with service development initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities

• To be responsible for a majority Cardiorespiratory clinical caseload, providing high quality Physiotherapy care to patients across the London Bridge Hospital campus.
• To be able to provide clinical support across all specialities, including Intensive care, general surgery, orthopaedics and cardiorespiratory.
• Use expert clinical reasoning to provide specialist intervention, support and advice to patients, ensuring best practice is applied at all times.
• To provide comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments for each patient and to plan & implement treatment using a goal planning system.
• To maintain accurate, up-to-date and concise treatment records detailing the individual patient's treatment plan and progress.

Skills and experience

• Be HCPC registered
• Highly specialist experience in Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, including ICU
• Experience working within in-patient settings within an acute hospital
• Experience working across other disciplines within physiotherapy e.g rotations
