The working pattern for this role is 18 hours per week during the core season only (normally February to November) each year.

What you’ll be doing
As one of our Seasonal Hospitality & Catering Assistants your duties will be varied to include working in the kitchen assisting with food preparation for our visitors. As well as contributing to the service and housekeeping operations, with tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
You will take pride in your work, always maintaining excellent hygiene standards, whilst contributing to a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Typically, our core season runs from February until November every year. Seasonal roles allow you to experience working life in our outstanding education centres throughout the core working season allowing you to follow other interests and pursuits over the winter months secure in the knowledge that you have a job to come back to.
Where you’ll be based
Field Studies Council Rhyd-y-creuau is set in the beautiful, rugged landscape of the Snowdonia National Park. The 2.2 hectare estate includes a football pitch, woodland, biodiversity garden, campfire area, teambuilding challenges, stream and ponds.
We are a short drive south from the A55 North Wales Expressway, making us easily accessible throughout the year from most areas. Nearest railway station is at Betws-y-coed, which is a simple flat walk of around 1km.
