Social Event Sales Manager Salary: £43,000 + Bonus. Salary will be pro-rated depending on length of contract.

The Event Sales Team is responsible for engaging with clients in order to promote and sell the hotels newly refurbished meeting rooms, event spaces, guest bedrooms, suites and Food & Beverage outlets. Exceeding guest expectations is paramount and we aim to create bespoke and energizing guest experiences that are sophisticated and elegant.

As Social Event Sales Manager you will support clients/guests with arranging a variety of events such as Weddings, Christmas parties and family celebrations. You will create connections and understand their needs so to deliver memorable occasions and WOW moments.

Key elements of the Social Event Sales Manager role include

• Creating memorable, well-executed and sophisticated events for a wide range of clientele by planning and organising with clients with an aim of creating repeat guests
• Exceeding financial quotas and customer service criteria as well as revenue targets
• Set clear strategies to enhance account performance and achieve annual budgeted goals
• Ensuring all clients/guests are responded to promptly and efficiently
• Handle the Social Event enquiries from assigned segments at times quoting hotel rate information, planning of all details in conjunction with the event and liaising with 3rd party suppliers where required
• Communicate effectively with the operational departments to ensure a seamless experience for the client/guest
• Conduct site inspections and meet with clients to discuss their requirements (entertaining of clients may be required in the evenings and weekends)
