- Define detailed user Requirements from Business Sectors across sectors & prioritisation of these, in addition what is new, what exists in the new AWS environment & what is existing from legacy DwH/Reporting that needs to be transitioned before decommissioning
- Capture & define Technical & Non-functional Requirements to be able to deliver user requirements allowing for long term target strategy, working alongside the Business Partner, Solutions Architect & D&T team & aligning against existing requirements built in the foundation of the Programme
- Understand & document Challenges & Opportunities from Business Sectors to enable prioritisation of workstreams
- Understand what Data Exists - where, in what format, volume of data, current processes to maintain, ownership, obtain contact details/relationship owners of data
- Understand what Data does not exist, where it should, in what format it needs to be captured, volume of data, & who in business needs to set up process to maintain & own
- Be able to assist the business in visualising what the business will be delivered & therefore if this meets their criteria with the ability to ensure the solution is future proofed as much as possible with all potential data being landed in the data lake within the design that the E15 Data Architect is required to produce
- Identify benefits that will be obtained from the delivery of the requirements
- Be able to assist in the sign off the data required & mapping to ensure the requirements are clearly understood by the E15 Programme deliverable team including any third parties to ensure the design, mapping documents & other artefacts can be produced, & the non-functional requirements are taken into account during the build
- Be able to assist in the testing phase with the testing criteria that need to be met from the original requirements to ensure the project has delivered
- Liaise with Third Parties where required to assist with scoping requirements
- Be able to playback to the business requirements & obtain sign off to ensure no misunderstandings on the deliverables
- Work alongside the Project Manager ensuring all deliverables by this role are known & being delivered to the agreed timeframe
- Project documentation completed to allow handover to Project Managers to initiate workstreams
- Assistance of Scoping & Feasibility Ad Hoc tasks as requested by Programme Manager & Board
- Strong communication skills with the business & technical teams, including up to Exec level
- Worked as a Business Analyst on large Projects/Programmes
- Experience on Data & Insights Projects & Architecture is ideal
- Worked with Data Visualisation tools, eg Cognos, Tableau, Power BI etc but preferred tooling knowledge is AWS Quicksights
- Work alongside Solutions Architect on Technology & Architecture for solution analysis on Data Warehouse, ETL, Reporting tools
- Ability to utilise Dev Ops
- Demonstrate ability to adhere to Governance Processes
- Worked as a Project Manager on large Projects/Programmes & delivered successfully
- Experience on Data & Insights Projects is ideal, & experience of AWS environments & reporting tool QS preferred but not required
- Ability to be comfortable on being flexible on role within the Programme given the E15 Programme is developing & growing
- Ability to use Excel, Word & Powerpoint
- Excellent team player
- Experience in Azure DevOps preferred but not required if similar experience in other project tools where knowledge transfer can be used
- Ability to follow PMO & Programme Governance

The Programme identifies the business's detailed requirements & therefore the further data sources to be integrated, built & tested, & develop the technology & architecture required to enable data capture, management, governance, standardisation that is future proofed for growth of data & number of users, & all whilst ensuring the non-functional requirements are in place for the ongoing delivery of this solution.
This role will play a key part in this Programme, by completing the scoping & discovery of the requirements of the business, identifying dependencies, proposing prioritisation & help in defining timings & costs to allow the Programme team to be able to make decisions with the business stakeholders.
