Human Resources Generalist – leading Leisure Centres in the London Borough of Newham

We have an exciting opportunity within our Human Resources Department for a Human Resources Generalist, where you will be working in a fun, lively environment with likeminded people. You will help to inspire others to work together and deliver their very best.  You will be making a significant contribution to the community we support by helping the London Borough of Newham deliver on its 50 Steps to a Healthier Newham Strategy.

We are looking for someone who is working towards or who has a Level 5 CIPD qualification or is able to demonstrate experience commensurate with the role.  It would be desirable if you have a working familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems.

You will be responsible for providing day-to-day HR support to line managers and employees, with a specific focus on Employee Relations case management.  Additionally, you will work closely with the Human Resources and Payroll Lead in the delivery of  people specific projects.
