What is the job of a Recreational Assistant …

Reporting to the Aquatics Manager as the Recreational Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Actively engage with members of the public in their use of the facilities, encouraging repeat bookings, dealing with any customer queries, and delivering a high level of customer service
• Assist with the preparation of all areas for activities and special events as required
• Champion in role and take personal responsibility for all hygiene, health and safety policy and procedure
• Carry out cleaning duties across the centre
• Once qualified Carry out pool testing, and other health and safety checks
• Once qualified supervise the pool in accordance with RLSS standards and site operation procedures

We are looking for someone that…

• Experience of delivering first class customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Ideally hold or be willing to work towards a NPLQ qualification
• Have experience of working in a health and safety critical environment
