General Manager - Brighton, West Sussex

The Flour Pot Bakery is a retail and wholesale artisan bakery with stores in Brighton and Worthing.

We are seeking an experienced cafe general manager to run one of our popular stores at Portland Road, Brighton . The right candidate will have similar experience in a high quality cafe environment, have a good understanding and passion for the high end coffee world, with practical know-how around an espresso machine a must. Creating a fantastic customer experience and workplace environment for your team is crucial to this role, as well as personality, drive and a level head.

This role is very hands-on but also the ability to manage the financial side of the business, understand the importance of all aspects of compliance as well as having the retail eye and attention to detail that makes our stores stand out. You will have an excellent understanding of business P&Ls, food and drink GPs, and managing a labour budget alongside all operating costs. A proven track record in a similar role, strong sales and customer service skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team is crucial.
