A successful Maintenance Supervisor candidate will:

• Have experience in a similar, hands-on role
• Have an aptitude for fixing and mending
• Be able to respond effectively to an “emergency” situation
• Be a good communicator
• Be friendly and personable, and can deliver the company standards.

Duties of the Maintenance Supervisor:

• Carrying out daily, weekly and monthly health and safety checks in line with the company’s health and safety policies.
• Preparing and planning a maintenance programme to maintain all public and staff areas, accommodation, bars in line with current legislation and agreed operating standards.
• Managing the repair of properties and all accommodations to agreed operating standards.
• Provide support to other teams where applicable.
• Complying with all Company and legal policies and procedures.
• Require knowledge and experience of Plumbing, Electricals and general maintenance to be able to carry out minor works – plumbing repairs, changing lightbulbs, remedial and programmed painting and decorating.
• Liaison and interaction with maintenance contractors
• Grounds maintenance.
