The impact you'll make

Creating a high-quality experience isn't just about our front-of-house teams, you will be working as part of a dedicated HR team who drive the Marriott Philosophy of 'Take Care of our Associates' offering opportunities to help grow and develop careers, focus on team wellbeing and support in organising fun monthly events.  You will be a true ambassador who sells the Delta Brand to future employees and support with onboarding them into the team.  

 

What you'll do  

  • With the role, you will be part of everything HR related, from driving recruitment activity, screening candidates and delivering onboarding for new team members 

  • Build relationships with associates and managers within the team and support as necessary 

  • Deliver training events  

  • Promote wellbeing and organise events within the hotel 

  • Ensure associate files are kept up to date and all documents are correct and accurate  

  • Positively promote careers within Hospitality through partnerships with local college's, universities, job centres and other organisations 

  • Maintain confidentiality of information, protecting the privacy and security of co-workers  

 

What we're looking for

  • Great conversational and relationship building skills 

  • A gift for paying attention to the smallest details  

  • Previous relevant work experience in a Human Resources role would be an advantage

With this role you will be working 20 hours per week over 4 days, predominately Monday - Friday although there may be the need to work the odd evening or weekend to support the hotel or events.  If you need flexibility in your life, we are happy to discuss this with you.
