This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from secondment.
What it's like to work here
Cliveden’s Italianate mansion, riverside setting and family-friendly events draw visitors all year round, making this property one of the National Trust’s busiest locations welcoming over half a million visitors annually. There is always plenty to do at the 375-acre estate, with the refurbishment of the Conservatory Cafe among recent projects and a major infrastructure upgrade in the planning. The Cliveden team are close-knit with a wonderful sense of community, and we work closely with the staff in the hotel and other stakeholders.
The job is sometimes pressured, but it’s a beautiful place to work and we love to share the pleasures of Cliveden with our visitors. You'll take part in duty management, deputising for the General Manager (including regular weekends) as well as running the visitor operation and setting our strategic direction.
