Fleet Dining & Beverage Operations Manager

The Fleet Dining & Beverage Operations Manager is a vital role here at P&O Cruises.. You are jointly responsible for the consistent delivery of the restaurant and bar service standards across the fleet, your job will be to continuously look to improve and drive innovation, ensuring the delivery of unforgettable holiday happiness to our guests. This role reports in to the Senior Manager Food & Beverage and travel the fleet to work alongside the other Fleet Ops Managers and the on-board managers, offering the support required for crew development.

Are you someone who prides themselves on attention to detail and can help to ensure that all our culinary products are the same no matter where you are on-board Are you a natural communicator and can train and development our staff to make sure our products are consistently a high standard and most of all taste amazing Can you spot others strength and weaknesses in order to work on these to ensure our staff are constantly learning and developing themselves

P&O Cruises require the following experience:

  • A high level of in depth knowledge in dining & beverage service delivery 
  • A strong understanding of  Cruise ship F&B / Hotel F&B service delivery
  • Clear track record of developing people effectively in a commercial environment.
  • Experience of managing team performance in cruise/hotel industry
  • A team player with the ability to manage relationships and build teams
  • Experience of identifying and implementing best practice in F&B service

As part of this role you may be required to complete STCW training, you will be provided more information through the process. 

Carnival UK require all crew, joining any of our vessels, to be fully vaccinated with a primary series of any WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination as a minimum to ensure you continue to have the best protection against COVID-19, and to protect those around you. COVID-19 vaccines and boosters are proven to be effective at reducing the risk of infection, serious illness, hospitalisation and death from COVID-19 therefore we highly recommend that all crew are fully up to date with all available COVID-19 boosters when eligible.  

We will continue to offer COVID-19 booster programmes on board, and during your time on board it will be mandatory for you to attend these clinics to receive a booster vaccination or formally record your refusal of the booster in your medical records. Please note, for all crew who are planned to join a ship visiting Australia or Japan during their contract, they are required to be fully vaccinated with a primary series and a WHO Approved booster (preferably MRNA) prior to joining the ship.

 We are unable to progress any applications from individuals who will not be fully vaccinated, 14 days prior to joining a ship, at this time and welcome future applications should your vaccination status change.
