Is this Senior Meeting and Events Coordinator role right for me?


We’re looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals with a passion for hospitality. We embrace our core values of Diversity, Innovation and Generosity in everything we do, and we’re looking for originality, proactive thinking and understanding in our team members.


As a Senior Meeting and Events Coordinator, you will liaise with potential and existing clients, the Restaurant and Bar Manager, Chefs, and Sales team from initial enquiry stage through to post event follow-up to achieve both optimum revenue and maximum client satisfaction.


You will ensure that the Meeting and Events database and chase system is updated, actioned daily, and utilised for all live enquiries, existing clients, and potential new business. It will require to be innovative and present any new ideas to the Meeting and Events Office Manager with regards to improving standards and service within the Meeting and Events department. You will carry out show rounds ensuring that guest queries and issues are dealt with quickly and professionally and manage the preparation of the weekly function sheets ensuring information is accurate and detailed.


For this role you’ll also:

  • Previous experience in meeting and events or related field is required
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to create a positive environment where change happens and lead team effectively through periods of change
  • Ability to lead and promote a teamwork culture
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to remain calm and deliver high standards under pressure
