Operations Manager - Lord Butler Fitness & Leisure Centre - Saffron Walden, Essex

Salary: £25,000 per annum

We are looking to recruit a multi-functional role of Operations Manager.

Supporting the Contract Manager and HODs, you will lead and be responsible for a team and the day-to-day operations of the Centre. You will take all necessary steps to ensure the building is open, safe, and clean, equipment working and staff friendly. The right individual will take a hands-on approach to service delivery & be able to work under their own initiative to 'get things done'.  You must be confident, enjoy working with people and thrive on delivering great service in a busy environment.

The main duties include the opening/closing of the building, management of equipment set-up/breakdown for the activities programmes of the Centre. Health and Safety management and monitoring, ensuring all departments deliver a first class service for all customers and visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to progress their career within the fitness industry. This role will require regular Friday and weekend availability.
