REQUIREMENTS

• This is a self-employed Personal Training position working in a rent-based PT model.

• You will require a minimum of a Level 3 PT qualification and preferably at least 1 years’ experience of coaching.

• As a self-employed trainer you will need to provide your own PT liability insurance.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Stage 1

After you’ve submitted your application, you will be booked in with our Academy Recruitment Manager for a telephone interview. You will be asked some questions about your previous coaching experience and what you’re looking for in the role. If you are successful, you will then move on to stage 2 which will be an in club interview with one of our PT Managers.

Stage 2

The club interview will be broken down into 3 stages,

1. A presentation on the GymBox PT Academy and what we offer.

2. A practical assessment where you’ll run a 1-2-1 consultation followed by a coaching element.

3. A business interview where you will present your strategy on how you plan to grow your new PT client base and what a client’s fitness journey would look like with you.

This process of this will all be explained thoroughly during the telephone interview and on the day by the clubs PT Manager.

Stage 3

Once you’ve passed our recruitment process, we will welcome you into GymBox to start your onboarding and your new PT journey with us. This will include.

• A 4-week self-employed specific business course to sharpen up your business skills.
• An 8-week Strength & Conditioning course to improve your coaching services.
• Weekly 1-2-1 mentoring support sessions with your in-club PT Manager.
• Opportunities to work with our group exercise department to teach classes.
