Our head office is based in Dartford and we encourage our head office team to work collaboratively from the Head office as per our business needs. 

Who You Are:

You are an experienced senior- Level manager who has experience in delivering projects across multiple stakeholders. You will be passionate about account/partnership management experience, via new business planning or developing existing business strategies,

What You Will Do

This role is about supporting the business through new and existing clients. To further develop and manage the implementation and sustainability of the charity’s community and partnership strategy to achieve improvement, growth and retention of our client portfolio, active partnerships, sports clubs and health bodies.  To manage the implementation of the strategy for the growth and engagement of our sports and health development programme.

Some of your Tasks and may include:

  • To implement strategies for building and maintaining new business development opportunities
  • To support new business development opportunities and mobilisations
  • To support new client relationships to grow the portfolio and take ownership of current clients to enhance retention of current contracts
  • Act as the key person for all clients and partners within region or area
  • Work closely with the Regional Commercial & Operations Managers to support the delivery of client/contractual obligations and participation targets
  • To identify, establish and develop substantial programmes, aimed at increasing levels of participation and physical activity through a coordinated approach with other key partners and clients
  • Support local and regional achievement of Quest, ISO accreditation and other relevant accreditations
  • Evaluate activities and events and respond to feedback in order to deliver these activities at the highest possible standard
  • To actively seek and apply for new sources of funding, both internally and externally for physical activity and wellbeing activities, preparing evaluation reports/business cases, as appropriate
  • Maintain partnerships with existing funders, reporting key performance indicators and project measures internally and externally
  • Support the development of partnership arrangements, as appropriate, to enhance the service provision
  • To effectively manage budgets, and monitor income and expenditure for the communities and partnerships function
  • Develop and monitor, key performance indicators and targets for each division, partnership or programme

Application Criteria          

Qualifications

  • Degree in sports development, Business Management or related subject (desirable)

Experience

  • Senior-level experience within the fitness, leisure, retail or similar industry
  • Account/Partnership Management experience
  • Good understanding of local authority management contracts
  • Experience in delivering projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Successful team management and leadership
  • New business planning and strategy development
