Salary: £29,500 - £33,000 PA (DOE) Plus Service Charge

In the busy months our wine team have earnt up to £500 in service charge per month, whilst service charge varies depending on bookings with the staycation concept thriving, you can do the maths.

Hours: Full Time - 45 Hours Per Week

We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Head Sommelier to lead our Wine Team.

As part of our food and beverage team our Sommeliers play an important role within our restaurant and bar service. We offer an extensive wine list to our guests, from wines across the world, local British produce to our very own PIG offering!

We love wine so much, our latest additional to our group, THE PIG in the South Down has its very own vineyard!

The role of Head Sommelier is key to our success. We require a passionate and proactive Head Sommelier that has strong product knowledge to pass onto other members of the team. You must have completed a recognised study in wine and spirits and in turn we will provide you with any further qualifications that might be required for your own personal development.

As a Head Sommelier you will be responsible for the growth of our wine team whilst ensuring that they provide our guests with a quality experience. You will bring your knowledge and creative flair to the task at hand, develop our wine list and take responsibility of the cellar.

To do this, you will need to be reflective of our attitude and ethos in all that you do, working collaboratively with the management team to provide our guests a service to remember.

Experience in a similar role is essential, plus WSET or equivalent qualifications.
