Job Description

WHY DO WE HAVE THIS ROLE?

We have been given the green light totally reimagine BaxterStorey, what we stand for, how we speak, how we look. To fuel our commitment in raising the level and quality of our digital content, we are excited to bring a new Digital Content Creator role into our brand and comms team. This person will focus on activating bold, dynamic and high-energy digital campaigns, to amplify the noise and impact around the positive actions our teams do daily and how we market our product to our customers in our locations.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  1. Salary up to 37,000 depending on experience
  2. Pension 4%
  3. Holiday 28 days (Inc. BH)
  4. You'll be in a hybrid role with a minimum 2-3 days in either our Reading office or London office in Holborn and Farringdon. Our offices will be moving in the middle of the year to a beautifully renovated space in Holborn

RESPONSIBILITIES 

To work with Head of Communications, Head of Creative and the wider team to develop and deliver our digital strategy. You will be a hands on person that loves to pick up a camera, shoot your shot and do the posting too! You will work closely with support teams across the business, including Learning and Development, to create mind-blowing, boundary pushing, game changing digital content to increase internal and external engagement across social platforms . You will promote awareness on events, wellbeing initiatives, job and training opportunities. You will be an integral part of the team, a reel whizz, pun intended and  full of ideas, with the capability to implement them too.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Have a results-focused approach to work, reporting, measuring, and analysing analytics, producing monthly data report and insight. If people don't engage with it, then you don't create it!

Plan, produce and create digital content to be used across all our digital channels, increasing engagement with our audiences and stakeholders this means attention grabbing stories and reels on Instagram to micro business videos. Podcast edits too, so we sound our best.

Content management of the business website, proactively sourcing case studies and good news stories from across the UK business and connecting them to our wider campaign strategy

Implementing a cross-platform, cross audience digital content strategy as agreed with the Head of Communications

Taking photos, creating quality graphics, shooting videos (we have the kit) and editing photos, working with the creative team when necessary. You will be a rounded creative who likes to get involved.

We need you to push us. You must be aware of, and have knowledge of new social media trends and awareness campaigns, bringing fresh ideas and opportunities in-house to grow our online presence. When the algorithm changes, we need you to help us adapt to keep up.

Supporting the internal communications manager in generation of content for internal platforms including SharePoint intranet, Teams Channels and email campaigns, with a specific focus on internal content

Attend company events including our Obsessed Labs, Awards and supplier visits


Qualifications

Experience of photography and creating/editing images - using packages such as Adobe Photoshop.

Skilled in video production, including filming and editing  (preferably using Adobe, Canva or similar) and delivering via channels such as YouTube.

Strong digital creative skills with an eye for detail.

Knowledge in reporting and analysing analytics

Experience using CMS platform, preferably WordPress

Experienced user of Microsoft office applications including SharePoint, Forms, OneDrive, Outlook etc.

Clear and concise written and verbal communication

Core understanding of social media platforms
