Assistant Manager - Central London

The Wigmore - an upscale tavern named 'The Best Pub/Bar 2022' by The Caterer magazine, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager. In this role, we are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

In the role of Assistant Manager, your key focus will be to:

• support the Bar Manager in achieving business results
• ensure the smooth running of The Wigmore, including private events in The Snug and Green ROom
• demonstrate a real understanding of achieving and maintaining quality through effective service management
• lead a team that is genuine in delivering service excellence
• assist in managing and developing the team
• assist with the achievement of departmental KPI results
• support the Departmental Trainer in conducting all on-the-job training for all colleagues to ensure all Company standards are adhered to
• ensure that licensing laws and health and safety matters are adhered to

Do you have? 

• similar experience in a quality gastropub
• the ability to work under pressure
• the ability to lead by example and motivate a strong team
• the ability adapt swiftly and seamlessly to situations that arise
• a passion in ensuring a delightful experience for clients and guests alike
• good communication skills and very good level of English
