Job Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidates who wish to share in dnata’s vision, mission and values

Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment

Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.

Job Summary

At dnata we handle a variety of cargo, ranging from live animals to luxury cars, ensuring it is safely and securely prepared to travel. You will be required to load and off-load cargo vehicles and operate a fork lift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as perform some manual handling. You will also be expected to use hand held devices to locate and identify cargo and process paperwork in accordance with client requirements.

Hours of work: 42 hours per week

Both day & night shifts mandatory, in line with example roster pattern below, with the earliest approximate start time as 7.00am and the latest approximate finish time as 19.00pm. In line with business requirements a 5 on, 4 off roster pattern is available on a rolling 3 week roster pattern.

Salary:

The starting salary for this position is £29,500 per annum, inclusive of allowances and benefits.
