Job Requirements

Applicants must be fluent in both verbal and written English

Forklift truck licence is desirable (counterbalance)

A full UK/EU Driving Licence with 1 years driving experience (desirable)

Ideal candidate will have some warehouse experience

Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment

Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.

Job Summary

At dnata we handle a variety of cargo, ranging from live animals to luxury cars, ensuring it is safely and securely prepared to travel. You will be required to load and off-load cargo vehicles and operate a fork lift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as perform some manual handling. You will also be expected to use hand held devices to locate and identify cargo and process paperwork in accordance with client requirements.

Hours of work: 42 hours per week

Both day & night shifts mandatory, in line with example roster pattern below, with the earliest approximate start time as 6:00 and latest approximate finish time as 06:00. In line with business requirements a 4 day on, 4 day off roster pattern is available on a rolling 8-week roster pattern.

Salary:

The starting salary for this position is £29,037.76 per annum, inclusive of bonus and benefits.
