We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Marketing Executive to join our friendly team!

You will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of marketing within the business. The ideal candidate will be able to manage and drive the Sales & Marketing across Lucknam Park to maximise potential revenue and promoting the business.

Experience and skills required to fulfil the role:

  • Exceptional command of the English language both written and spoken is essential.
  • Technical knowledge of all Microsoft systems (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) is required as well as knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in social media planning and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, time and project management, and ability to manage lots of projects at once are essential.
  • Exceptional level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Prior experience as a Marketing Coordinator or Assistant (or similar) with a good understanding of all marketing disciplines
  • Experience in developing campaigns & content, partnerships and social media communications – good InDesign and graphic design skills are a bonus.
  • Enthusiasm is mandatory so you’ll be highly motivated and pro-active within every interaction and come with plenty of ideas.
  • You are super organized, an amazing planner and able while seamlessly handling inbound requests from the team and leaders.

Marketing Executive responsibilities:

  • Support to the Director of Sales & Marketing in organising, monitoring and execution of creative marketing initiatives to support all Hotel areas: Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Wedding and Events.
  • Keep abreast of newest trends and innovations in the hospitality industry with a strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
  • Maintain and update the website, ensure photos and content are up to date. Knowledge of Wordpress is required.
  • Manage all third-party websites content. Ensure promotions and offers are on the appropriate websites.
  • Oversee google analytics, reporting, comp set analysis and industry trend analysis.
  • Have knowledge, understanding and familiarity of PPC, SEO.
  • Assisting with day-to-day administration tasks, including purchase orders and vouchers, plus co-ordinating marketing activities as requested, which are all integral to the execution of the sales and marketing plan.
  • Database management. Ensure all records are clean and market segmented. Create, develop and maintain the PMS for all eblast promotions.
  • Assisting with the planning and creative for the hotel’s email marketing calendar.
  • Develop the annual Social Media Strategy including national holidays and hotel events to increase the awareness in all areas of the hotel, with a view to expanding following and increasing engagement
  • Drive digital success through paid media and digital advertising
  • Supporting on all marketing projects including print and digital campaigns and replenishing marketing materials.
  • Create all artworks for publications.
  • Working closely with our PR agency to organise Press and VIP stays. Hosting press show rounds and welcoming journalists as required.
  • Develop good working relationships with external suppliers and develop new partnerships.
  • Assisting with hotel and F&B photoshoots. A good eye for photography and experience with photoshoots would be an advantage. Manage the image library.
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • Stratification with external agency on paid social media.

We are offering a competitive salary of £26,000 - £27,000 dependant of experience, for a full time role, working 40 hours over 5 days per week, which could include weekends, evenings and Bank/Public Holidays as needed to fulfil business needs. Service charge will be paid after completing one full months service.

Please be aware Lucknam Park is located in beautiful countryside which is difficult to reach via public transport, therefore your own transport would be advisable to enable you to fulfil the shifts required for this role.
