We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment / Resourcing Assistant to join the in-house resourcing team at Hand Picked Hotels.

This is a hybrid role however you will be required to travel to hotels within the group as required.  You will ideally be located in commutable distance to either one of our hotels in Hampshire, Kent or the Midlands.

This role comes with structured career progression either within the resourcing team or wider human resources function within Hand Picked Hotels.

About the role:

  • As a Resourcing Assistant your role will involve the promotion of Hand Picked Hotels as an employer of choice and ensure we provide a positive Hand Picked candidate recruitment experience.
  • The role will involve utilising the Applicant Tracking System to place job advertisements ensuring all advert content is up to date, attractive and grammatically correct.
  • You will be responsible for collating and screening job applications to assess suitability and eligibility.
  • This will include conducting first stage screening interviews using Hand Picked behavioural interviewing techniques to assess candidate suitability.
  • Ensure responses to applicants  are sent in a timely manner helping to ensure we deliver a positive candidate experience
  • You will be responsible for assisting with social media activity to positively promote Hand Picked Hotels as an employer brand, advertise vacancies and help attract candidates.
  • Assist with the co-ordination and production of the weekly internal vacancy listing and keeping recruitment reports up to date.

About you

  • To be consider for this role of Resourcing / Recruitment Assistant, you must have current recruitment or human resources administration experience, ideally within the hospitality industry.
  • It is essential you have strong technical skills with a good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Social Media.
  • It is vital you are exceptionally organised and able to prioritise and juggle a busy workload and multiple areas of responsibility.
  • You are passionate about developing yourself and looking for a role and company where you can progress your career.
  • You have a clear, approachable and friendly communication style and strong customer service orientation.
  • Can demonstrate excellent analytical, problem solving judgement and decision making skills.
