Kitchen Manager - Somerset

We are looking for a Back of house manager to join our Guest catering team here at Butlins Minehead, you will be responsible for all things health and safety and the day to day running of the catering team ensuring the back of house areas are safe and secure and all health and safety legislation are being adhered to

The Role
Ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation as well as the company policy
Ensuring all Health and safety paperwork is complete and up to date, this includes, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly checks
Ensuring the correct stock levels of chemicals and disposables
Temperature checks of equipment and reporting any issues or concerns
Responsible for training of new team members and yearly refreshers
Completion of team rotas and daily allocations.
Opening the venue and ensuring the opening and closing checks are complete.
Ensuring the catering diary is accurate and completed.


Normal working hours:
The role will require flexibility, shifts could include working evenings, weekends and split shifts.

What we are looking for
Similar experience in a previous role
Experience leading a team
Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and compliance
Food safety Management systems
Willingness to learn new skills and get stuck in
