More about the role:

As one of our HR & Training Managers, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the central recruitment team and administrators
  • Provide admin support for disciplinary and grievances by producing meetings documentation packs, standard letters, arranging formal meetings and note-taking within the required timescales
  • Produce an Employee Relations tracker and ensured it is updated weekly and produced for HR reviews
  • Oversee the training to ensure all mandatory training is completed by all employees and maintain the training matrix
  • Ensure the attendance policy is being adhered to and support the management team in tackling both short- and long-term absence cases including note taking for home visits
  • Support the managers in the recruitment process
  • Manage the annual appraisal review and mid-term review process
  • Manage the succession planning and talent management process in conjunction with the HR Business Partner/Contract Director
  • Roll out/conduct Training
  • Attend meetings as required
Who you are:

Our Ideal HR & Training Manager will have:

    Good communication skills Ability to deal with and communicate with a wide variety of people. Knowledge of word processing packages and administrative systems to enable development of these within own role. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise work using own initiative approachable and accessible to all users of the Training and HR function IT Literate Experience in a similar role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and creative person to join our team to manage the HR and training activity within our dynamic business at Darent Valley Hospital.

The ideal person will be looking to continue to develop their HR skills and also have a passion for training. Great self-management and administration skills are a must, and just as important will be a desire to put their own stamp on the future of this operation via the development of the processes already in place.
