Summary

Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team, you'll play a core part in providing fantastic customer service. 

The role also involves occasional working at two other sites: Coggeshall Grange Barn and Bourne Mill in Colchester. 

The Hours: Flexible hours to be discussed at interview with a variety of shift patterns available. The role requires some weekend working.
What it's like to work here

You'll be a member of a part-time team of seven, working with different teammates on different days. You'll also work alongside many support and satellite staff ,as well as a varied group of volunteers. The pace of the work can be rather lively, but you would always be working in beautiful surroundings with supportive people.

There are two on-site managers to guide you through your various tasks and duties, and to help you to fulfil your potential. Training is given in a range of skills, and there is also the chance to take on further responsibilities and more specialised training, if you wish. Each team member is encouraged to spend a proportion of their work time pursuing their interests within the Trust and developing their career prospects. 
What you'll be doing

Although the primary focus of the role is to welcome and assist our visitors, you may be called upon for various other duties such as: helping with children's trails; tearoom duties; tour guiding; conservation cleaning; theatre stewarding; historical research; cleaning and tidying; events management; book shop organising; local liaison; social media; collections care and cataloguing; and so on, depending on your interests and abilities.
