Sales & Marketing Manager - Hook, Hampshire

Reporting directly to the General Manager this key role will on developing and leading delivery of the annual sales and marketing plan throughout the hotel to achieve budgeted revenue targets.  The ability to motivate and influence the entire team to drive results will also be key to succeeding in the role.  By necessity you need to work closely with and support any group strategies and campaigns.

Sales & Marketing Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop the annual sales & marketing plan. 
  • Lead implementation of the annual sales & marketing plan throughout the entire hotel, ensuring successful results.  
  • To manage corporate accounts at the hotel, maintain relationship, negotiate rates and grow business.  
  • Health Club Memberships: ensure effective sales & marketing strategy is in place and implemented. 
  • To create, take to market and drive results for the annual Calendar of Promotions and Special Events. 
  • To ensure the hotel is represented accurately on all external platforms maximising results. This includes all key segments Leisure, Corporate, MICE, Weddings and Social.  
  • To capture content throughout the hotel that can be used for social media ensuring our channels are unique and sell the story of Tylney Hall Hotel. 
  • To coordinate with group marketing and hotel operations any hotel photoshoots.   
  • Attend weekly sales strategy meetings, generating actions for any need areas. 
  • Compile monthly reports for key segments to evaluate performance. 
  • Host client familiarisation and press trips ensuring the hotel is represented to its best ability.  
  • To collaborate with our Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager to maximise on food and beverage sales.      
  • Be the ambassador of Elite Diners to capitalise on all sales opportunities.
