We're currently looking for Retail & Admissions Hosts

Location: Chessington World of Adventures, Surrey KT9 2NE

Hours: Full time & part time, fully flexible. Fixed term contract from March 2023 to November 2023

We're also a part of the Merlin Entertainments family - associated with attractions like SEA LIFE, LEGOLAND Parks, Madame Tussauds and more!

About the Role

Guests visit Chessington World of Adventures Resort for Britain’s wildest day out and the Retail & Admissions department plays a massive part in creating memorable experiences at our attraction. We are the only department at the resort who sees every single guest that visits us. Retail & Admissions look after 3 operations on the resort, so if you want variety in the day, come and join us.

You could find yourself being responsible for greeting and interacting with our Adventurers on arrival, ensuring they have an easy entrance and fun farewell to the resort, or perhaps issuing tickets and taking payment at one of the ticket booths.

You could find yourself in one of our 13 retail units across the resort dealing with operating tills, cash handling, putting away deliveries, visual merchandising and helping to maintain a high level of hygiene throughout our shops whilst providing great interactive customer service to all of our shoppers.

You could also find yourself in the HUB promoting and selling our Reserve & Ride operation to help guests reduce their ride queue time.

Wherever you may find yourself, you will give everyone a warm welcome, ensuring that the guests are having the best possible day, supplying information about the Resort and providing any assistance that they may need.

Every day will be completely different, which means you get to meet people from ALL over the Resort!

About You 

  • Highly motivated individuals with bags of enthusiasm & energy who have a Commercial mind and a Passion for customer service and interaction.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, both with colleagues and adventurers
  • You must be goal driven and self-motivated to meet sales targets and must be comfortable working both within a team and on your own
  • You will have a fun, dynamic, friendly personality
