Summary

Join our great team for our 2023 season in a stunning location! URGENT VACANCY Immediate start! As this is an urgent role we will interview and possibly appoint whilst the vacancy is open, therefore we’d encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Day to day, you will support the delivery of an enjoyable outdoor holidays experience for our visitors. You'll be happy to work in all weathers but lots of fun is guaranteed! You’ll be a key part of our campsite team committed to the highest standards of operational delivery. As well as keeping sites perfectly clean, safe and compliant, you’ll welcome and engage with guests, sharing your love of the outdoors and the local environment with them.

Hours:  37.5 per week

Contract: Permanent 

Salary: £10.32 per hour

The pay for this role will lift to a minimum of £10.42 on 1st April 2023 in line with the changes to the Government National Living Wage.

What you'll be doing

We are looking for someone to join our campsite team and play a key role in ensuring our campsite is maintained and presented to the highest standard possible.

Duties will range from mowing, strimming and hedge cutting to maintenance of footpaths, tracks and camping pitches; simple plumbing tasks, litter picking and compliance checks; and general repairs, maintenance and upkeep of presentation standards of land and buildings around the campsite as needed.

You will work closely with all other members of the campsite team supporting the delivery of campsite accommodation to a high standard of presentation and helping all areas of the campsite operation to function smoothly.

This is very much an outdoors role, often working alone for long periods of time and will involve face to face interaction with our guests such as welcome and orientation as you work around the site.

A positive, can do attitude, a willingness to interact with our guests, cooperate and work closely alongside all other members of the team and good application of problem solving skills are a must in the fast moving, varying world of a large, busy campsite.
