POSITION SUMMARY

Delta Hotels by Marriott Swindon is looking for its next Conference and Banqueting Associate!

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and dynamic Conference and Banqueting Associate to join the team. The hotel is firmly established and located at the gateway to the Cotswolds equipped with 9 event rooms, two maximum breakout rooms, and a pillarless ballroom, ideal for everything from social celebrations to corporate meetings.

As well as the meetings and event space, the hotel itself has picturesque views over the gardens and a range of facilities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant, and Leisure Club, fully equipped with an air conditioned gym, a steam room and sauna, heated loungers, a beauty salon, and a hairdresser.

As the Conference and Banqueting Associate you will:

• Work 40 hours per 5 day week
• Set-up meeting and banqueting rooms ready for the guests arrival
• Serve refreshments, food and beverage items during events and functions
• Work with the Kitchen and Sales team to ensure a smooth delivery of service
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Embrace the Marriott culture

A successful Conference and Banqueting Associate is someone who:

• Has previous Food & Beverage serving experience or in similar environment
• Is proactive, reliable and can work alone or in a team
• Has an excellent eye for detail
• Is an strong communicator (verbal, listening, writing)
• Is a team player
