Full Time: Package up to £30k (including tips)

A new opportunity to join the team at Nelson Hotels & Inns has arisen for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager. This position undoubtedly offers the chance to run one of the best sites in the county!

This is a roving role. The manager will offer support and cover between our five sites: The Fishpool Inn, The Pheasant Inn, The Bears Paw, The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa and our newest site, The Manor in Greasby. Due to this being a roving role, the sucessful candidate will have a full, clean UK driving licence and have their own transport (not relying on public transport). Please note, mileage will be paid for travel between sites.

Experience we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced manager who has a strong background in top end high volume Gastro-pubs/restaurants. The ideal candidate will know good food, drink, service and will be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver results through previous experience. The Duty Manager will have the natural persona to be the front face of the business and run it as if it were their own alongside the GM. With a team of over 50+ staff, respect must be command. This can only be done if the manager possess the necessary skills to lead, train, develop and motivate them.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering the highest service standards. Work alongside the head chef to maintain the uppermost food quality and presentation standards. Have a thorough knowledge of the restaurant control systems and monitor and manage the financial performance alongside the GM.

Our head office offers a full accounts, HR, and payroll department, sales and marketing team, and central reservations, aiding you to concentrate on the most important aspect of the business, the customers.
