We are passionate about producing and delivering the high-quality entertainment that Butlin's has become renowned for. We are looking for a Technical Manager for our Skegness resort who truly cares about our Team experience and has high standards of delivery.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
To oversee all areas of technical aspects of production and entertainment delivery
Leading and motivating the technical support team, those that are responsible for stage management, audio, video and lighting within the entertainments department.
To act as main point of contact for all technical aspects of production and venue infrastructure
To assist in the scheduling and logistics of multiple entertainment venues
To liaise with all parties involved with production and entertainment on a technical level.
To ensure all technical specification documentation is kept up to date
To adhere to and implement Health and Safety procedures within the entertainment department.
Ensure all shows are consistently delivered to a high standard
Have an active role within Entertainment leadership meetings to ensure all areas of entertainment can be delivered to the highest standard
Liaising with external suppliers for the supply and deliverance of entertainment and entertainment supplies.
Develop systems and procedures in line with Butlins Entertainment leadership for the development of technical support team, technical equipment, and system infrastructure.
Ensure entertainment venues, systems and equipment are maintained and ready to deliver entertainment product requirements

The ideal candidate should have:
Have excellent communication skills
Be a committed Team Player including being flexible and enthusiastic.
Proven experience within the entertainments industry
Have a problem solving attitude
Have good time keeping skills
Confident to work on own initiative as necessary
Have knowledge of technical procedures, and systems
Ability to work to deadlines
Experience of managing a team
