Job Purpose

The Talent Development Events Coordinator supports the Talent Development Events Manager in the day-to-day execution, coordination and experience for all Talent Development events. The TD Events Coordinator plays an integral part supporting training calendar management, approach, and communication to the business. The TD Events Coordinator shall take responsibility for a specific TD specialist area and become the go to expert in events coordination for that area.

Job Description

This position will deliver on consistent and defined planning, coordination, and communication to support the development of our People, who are the heart of everything we do.

· To assist the Talent Development Events Manager to organise and deliver the businesses’ training and development plan.

· Supports with the creation of the training events calendar that aligns and partners the business’ needs.

· Coordinate feedback from line managers to ensure training programmes are satisfactory to all relevant parties.

· Support with the organisation, planning and evaluation of the company induction programme for both central and park teams.

· Distribute training material for each delegate with the support of the Events Team.

· Collate information and plan for future training needs as and when they arise.

· Completes and achieves other business-related tasks as agreed with Talent Development Events Manager.

· Takes responsibility for and maintains adequate stock of induction and training related materials.

· Distribute communications related to Talent Development events, delegates training invitations and event awareness.

· Any other tasks and responsibilities commensurate with the grading of this role.

· Assist with incoming communication to the central learning mailbox and take ownership of a specific TD Specialist area.

· Has awareness of procurement/purchasing process and ensures the correct purchase order requirements are carried out within the Events Team.

· Assist in events planning and coordination in connection with the Apprenticeship College.

· Builds positive and proactive relationships within the People Team to have awareness and understanding of vacancies and recruitment updates, including internal changes.

· Arrange travel and accommodation for the Talent Development Team.

Person Specification

Essential:

· Organisation, planning and prioritisation is a must


Ability to engage and communicate with people at all levels

· Accuracy and attention to detail.

· The ability to meet deadlines.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· The ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the business.

· Ability to travel around the UK with overnight stays.

· Full driving license.
