Paddlesports Course Coordinator - Baschurch, Shrewsbury

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Based at PGL Boreatton Park, with travel to other centres

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join the People Development team. Paddlesport Course Coordinators will plan, implement and manage quality paddlesport training courses that meet the needs of the business.

Job purpose:

Our Course Coordinators continually develop our Trainers to ensure the highest quality of training is provided to our colleagues.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop the training team to provide high quality training
• Lead and Manage the Paddlesport Training Team
• Course co-ordination
• Developing our Paddlesport training programmes
• Be an ambassador

Applicants will require:

• Full UK driving licence
• British Canoeing Sheltered Water Canoe & Kayak Coach Award or high
• British Canoeing Moderate Water Leadership Award or high

Further desirable skill, experience and qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Multiple years experience in mentoring a team
• Multiple years experience delivering training
• Detailed knowledge of British Canoeing courses and practices
• Detailed Knowledge of PGLs operating model and safety framework
• British Canoeing course provider statuses
