K West Hotel & Spa, the ultimate 4-star contemporary hotel in Shepherd’s Bush, is currently searching for a proactive, passionate and driven Spa Therapist to join our Award winning Spa team on a Casual basis.

With 219 rooms, a holistic urban spa, fitness club and a modern Studio Kitchen & Bar, the hotel is one of West London’s perfect hideaways. Formerly the BBC Kensington House Recording Studios, our building was the base to an eclectic mix of BBC services, from The World Service to David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley recording their tracks.

Our cherished location is a stone’s throw from the vibrancy of Shepherd’s Bush, White City and very well connected to Central London.

THE ROLE

• To ensure that a warm, friendly and professional welcome is given to all clientele at all time.
• To work in a safe manner and create a safe environment for the team and the users of the spa.
• Day to day responsibilities for equipment, products cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment rooms and stock room to be maintained at all times.
• Highly organized and able to juggle several tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail while performing treatments, and good knowledge of treatments, products and packages.
• Maintain professional appearance at all time and conduct behavior in a mature and professional manner.
• To be a positive and supportive team player in achieving personal and team retail targets.
• Proactive, flexible and energetic with a passion for excellent customer service delivery.

Working weekends and a flexible approach towards the hours of work is a requirement for the role.

ABOUT YOU:

• NVQ 2, 3 and minimum experience 2 years
• CIBTAC - Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology
• CIDESCO International Beauty Therapy Association
• Flexible approach towards the hours of work required
• Good Communication skills with clients, guest and colleagues alike
• Proactive, flexible and energetic with a passion for excellent customer service delivery
• Able to keep calm under pressure
• Good Spa therapy and product knowledge
• Adaptable and accountable for all actions, and not afraid to commitment and learning
• Highly organized, able to juggle several tasks simultaneously
