As a Catering Assistant at PGL, you’ll receive a monthly wage of up to £1,711, with a typical evening shift ending by 9pm. This is a catering position like no other in a fun, supportive environment that encourages you to develop your career.

We’re currently recruiting new Catering Assistants to join the team in 2022. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from friendly, knowledgeable catering professionals in a fun working environment.
Whether you’re looking for a new career or you already have experience, you’ll be supported every step of the way of your working adventure as a PGL Catering Assistant. You’ll get to develop your skills from the ground floor, from pot wash to food prep. The chances for progression are all dependent on your own ambition. Many of our Chefs started as Catering Assistants before further developing their career.
If you’re enthusiastic, have a willingness to learn, and can deliver high standards of customer service, you’re the person we’re looking for to join us in the kitchen.

In your new role as a Catering Assistant at PGL, you will receive a monthly wage of up to £1,711. In addition, you’ll be able to take advantage of training and qualification opportunities, funded by PGL, that encourage you to develop your future career. This includes the annual Chef Academy programme, which provides you with the qualifications and skills you need to advance towards Assistant Chef.
Your uniform is also provided for you, and we offer a 20% discount to our colleagues in all our on-site shops.
All successful applicants will automatically receive a job offer for 2023, with roles beginning in January.
