What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a Digital Product Manager to manage and deliver the Clubs product roadmap, delivering world class digital experiences to fans. Duties include: 

Ideate:

  • Lead on ideation and research initiatives to drive forward the product roadmap.  
  • Be a source of new ideas, driven by a knowledge of our digital product strategy and developments in the sports industry 
  • Work with the digital product and design team to identify and prioritise opportunities for new features 
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify areas of opportunity throughout the fan experience 
  • Work with product marketing to develop positioning to ensure differentiation from competitors 

Develop:

  • Be involved at every stage of the product development process; gathering requirements, running discovery workshops, developing feature ideas, writing user stories/development tickets, and carrying out user acceptance testing 
  • Run reviews with stakeholders, collating feedback into the development cycle 

Deliver:

  • Manage day to day delivery of the product roadmap & backlog 
  • Engage with our development agency daily to troubleshoot issues, track progress, and manage releases 
  • Lead on acceptance testing to ensure UX and overall build quality are to exemplary standard before any release 
  • Proactively monitor and test the products, raising issues and bugs via project tools 
  • Share regular status reports on progress, deliver presentations to stakeholders, run product demonstrations and training 
  • Communicate with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development, progress, and prioritisation 

Optimise:

  • Define and build consensus on which metrics success should be measured against 
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance, working with the Optimisation team to Ensure constant product iteration and improvement 
  • Contribute to the product strategy through definition and clear articulation of business and user requirements 

Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering feature roadmaps for websites and apps working in an agile development environment 
  • Strong experience collaborating with engineers and product design teams to develop innovative and delightful user experiences 
  • Experience of planning & technical project management 
  • Background in managing and influencing third party agencies 
  • Thorough knowledge of the sports industry and the competitive landscape 
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leaders and build support from stakeholders across the business 
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously 
  • Commitment to high standards and attention to detail 
  • Ability to multitask under time constraints and not compromise quality 
  • Thrives on solving complex business challenges
