Overall Purpose:

To ensure that all technical areas within the business are maintained and operated within the guidelines, policy, and procedures.  To ensure that all technicians are trained to the company standard within the agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for directing, supervising, and supporting maintenance technicians within the region and allocating work to the relevant teams where appropriate
  • Striving to constantly achieve a high level of service and maintenance across all sites
  • To support with new site installations and projects such as rolling out pins on strings
  • Ensure that all COSHH regulations are up to date across the wider team and adhered to
  • Bring any technical issues regarding sites to the attention of the Technical Manager / Operations Director such as serious faults and lanes out of service
  • To train team members at site level on the correct procedures for any work carried out on bowling equipment
  • Notify sites of budget allocation in relation to technical and help them to work within budget
  • Co-ordinate ongoing maintenance of all bowling equipment and lanes
  • Responsible for stock levels within the technical departments, ensuring stock takes are carried out accurately by site team
  • Ensure site compliance for Health and Safety is adhered to and work with HR to review any relevant policies and current practice
  •  Conduct site audits ensuring all Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices are in place at site
  •  Maintaining integrity and a professional image with employees, customers, suppliers and all external bodies
  •  Undertaking such other duties commensurate with the responsibilities of the role and any other reasonable management request

 

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Experience on installation of technical equipment
  • Experience and understanding of Emergency systems that can isolate machinery
  • Good Organisational and administrative skills including computer literacy
  • Fantastic communication skills verbally and using internal communication systems
  • Must be able to drive and hold a UK driving license
  • Prepared to stay away overnight if required with the role
  • Must be competent at using tools such as drills and screw drivers

 This salary is inclusive of a car allowance.
