We are looking to recruit for an Entertainment Performance Manager to cover a 9-12-month maternity leave here at Butlin's Skegness.

About the role

To support the Entertainment Experience Manager in the consistent and smooth running of the entertainment delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining consistent high standards of performance and production, identifying best practice and adhering to all legal requirements.

Duties include:

Ensuring that all on stage content is delivered in a safe manner.
Maintaining and improving the quality of on-stage content.
Ensuring that all on stage content is delivered as per the approved brief.
Evaluate and improve the performance of each team member through individual assessment and the development of performance plans.
Develop and implement a robust understudy programme.
Improve the commercial position by managing costs effectively, recognising and implementing income opportunities.
Playing a key role within the wider entertainment team, including duty management across family and live music weekend events.

About You

Previous experience in leading a professional performance-based entertainment team
Experience in performing as part of a cast
A track record in improving the performance of entertainment professionals
Qualifications in entertainment performance or management
Experience of working in or leading a wardrobe team.
Experience of managing budgets.
Technical theatre experience and knowledge an advantage, running technical rehearsals is important part of the role.
A passion for entertainment and the desire to improve the performance of those working within.
