Health Referral Facilitator - Waterfront Leisure Centre


Health Referral Instructor - Child / Adult Weight Management (up to 24 hours)

 

Based: Greenwich, South East London

 

GLL is looking for a Weight Management Instructor in the Royal Borough of Greenwich for our XPLORE Child Weight Management programme which works with children aged 4-19 years and their families and our Adult Weight Management service. As a not for profit, charitable social enterprise, we're different. In Greenwich we deliver a number of health programmes for adults, children and young people. As a Weight Management Instructor, you will work with the Physical Activity and Health Team on healthy eating and physical activity programmes across a variety of settings including leisure centres and schools. You'll need great communications skills as you will build relations with a number of health, education and social care professionals too.

 

You will have a Level 3 nutrition qualification, Level 3 fitness qualification or specific Exercise in Children qualifications, with experience and confidence in delivering healthy eating and physical activity sessions to children, young people and their families. You will also have knowledge of current guidelines relevant to children and physical activity as well as tier two nutritional advice key messages. You will need to be available to work evenings (3pm - 7pm), weekends and school holidays.
