Role overview

Given our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a passionate, energetic and detail-oriented Email Marketing Manager to join us at a critical time of growth. You will be responsible for leading and executing our email marketing strategy. Working closely with the Ecommerce and Marketing Teams to drive customer acquisition and retention. You will focus on creating personalised customer experiences that drive loyalty and lifetime value. 

Key Roles & responsibilities

  • Managing and executing the email marketing strategy
  • Creating an email campaign calendar, working closely with the ecommerce and marketing team
  • Owning and implementing the end-to-end handling of email campaigns: concept, brief, write copy, build, test, launch, analyse and optimise
  • Building and optimising flow segmentation strategies and creating personalised experiences by leveraging behavioural data
  • Mapping out communication journeys that nurture, win back and keep our customers engaged
  • Growing our email database by implementing omnichannel acquisition strategies
  • Developing and executing an A/B testing strategy & roadmap across flows and other touch points to support driving omnichannel conversion and customer retention
  • Advancing our email template designs
  • Reporting on email KPIs and metrics and using advanced analytics to understand our customer needs and behaviour
  • Implementing brand and tone of voice guidelines closely working with our marketing and brand team

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as an email marketing specialist (>3 years) 
  • Written communication and copywriting skills that have proven to lead to conversions
  • Proven track record of building automated, lifecycle CRM communications
  • Experienced in setting up segmentation, list-building, customer journey planning and A/B testing 
  • Numerate and data-driven, proficient using Google Analytics & Excel
  • The ability to work to targets and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • You are organised and can manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail
  • A curious and creative mindset being able to identify opportunities and improve measurable outcomes
  • Self starter that can work independently and collaborate with a team
  • Willing to look at the overall ecommerce ecosystem holistically and support where needed
  • A passion for a healthy planet & community 
  • Visual design skills beneficial
  • Klaviyo & ShopifyPlus experience beneficial
  • Understanding of other messaging platforms such as SMS
  • Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS
