Hotel Housekeeper - Betws-Y-Coed, Conwy

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual to join our housekeeping team at the iconic Tyn y Coed hotel in Capel Curig.

You will be joining our amazing team who are fully dedicated to delivering the best possible experience to all of our guests, they leave no pillow unturned!

Main duties and responsibilities…

• Making beds
• Dusting and hoovering of a set number of rooms including en-suite bathrooms.
• Replenishing Tea and Coffee making stocks and reporting any maintenance via internal procedures.
• Deep cleaning procedures
• Change towels
• Report and maintenance issues to be resolved
• Ensure Company policies are followed for Health and Safety at all times
• Ensure all reasonable tasks related to your role are completed as asked by the Hotel Management
• Be accurate and courteous at all times.
• Be aware of company Health & Safety policy in your workplace and assist others to help to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure awareness of COSHH Datasheets for yourself and other members of your team, and always ensure the information is available for chemicals on-site when there are new chemicals introduced to the workplace

What will I need to be considered for this role?

• Previous experience of maintaining cleanliness within a customer-occupied environment is preferred but not essential. (Full training provided)
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a variety of practical situations and follow standardised procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously, using initiative when required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment

What will I receive in return?

As a Housekeeper, you will receive an attractive hourly rate starting at £9.62 per hour with a potential equivalent yearly salary of around £20,000 plus a range of benefits including free and discounted access to all Zip World adventures, food and beverage discounts on all of our sites and discounted Mountain Equipment clothing.

Shifts are available every day 9am – 3pm
