The Riviera International Centre is an iconic destination site in the South West with extensive conferencing and event facilities, including a conference auditorium, arena/exhibition hall and additional meetings and function rooms. We are now recruiting casual bar and food service waiting staff ready for a busy events season! 

Previous experience within the hospitality industry is an advantage but not essential - What is more important is enthusiasm and desire to deliver excellent service to all our customers ensuring the best possible experience.  We can offer flexible working hours and shifts that can be arranged to fit in with other work, school, college or university commitments. 

Main Duties - Food Service

• To be part of a team providing different types of food service for events including serving tea and coffee for conferences, three course plated meals for gala dinners, weddings etc and buffet lunches for conferences and parties.  
• To help maintain a high standard of service throughout the department.
• To help maintain a high level of Health & Safety within the department.

Main Duties - Bar

• To be part of a team working behind sometimes a very busy bar. 
• Providinding table service for gala dinners, taking drinks orders and payment at the table. 
• Replenish stock on the bar when required including changing barrels. 
• To help maintain a high standard of service throughout the department.
• To help maintain a high level of Health & Safety within the department.

The Person

• Will ideally have experience in the hospitality industry (although not essential).
• Will possess a friendly, approachable and ‘can do’ attitude.
• Will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
• Will be flexible - evening and weekend, daytime and evening work will apply. You may also be asked if you can cover shifts in our cafe. 
• Be prepared to work hard and keep smiling even on the busiest of days
