Receptionists - Weybridge, Surrey
We are looking for Front Desk Receptionists to provide all of our guests with a warm welcome and provide excellent customer service.
Main Purpose of the job:
- Responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all guests in line with the hotel vision and value
- To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to guest's needs
- To build a good rapport with guests and resolve any complaints or issues in line with company standards
- To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing processes
- To administer all routes of reservation to ensure room bookings are made
- To undertake general office duties, including correspondence, emails and switchboard
- To efficiently process all reservations and cancellations
- To log any maintenance issues onto the PMS

Oatlands Park Hotel is steeped in royal history. The magnificent grounds were originally the site of a grand Tudor palace built by Henry VIII in 1538. Other monarchs, including Elizabeth I, James I and Charles I, also resided at Oatlands during their reign.
Over the centuries, the house and grounds have been rebuilt and remodelled several times, and in different styles, by a string of wealthy tenants. Oatlands Park opened as a hotel for the first time in 1856. The South Western Hotel, as it was known then, played host to a number of world-famous guests including writer Emile Zola, novelist Anthony Trollope and artist and poet Edward Lear.
The current owners bought the hotel in 1986 and have lovingly restored and refurbished it, retaining the unique character of the listed buildings and grounds.
