The Role

As an ID Administrator, you will responsible for all aspects of the application for, and maintenance of, security passes for units based in airports or train stations.  You will ensure compliance with regulations, policies, procedures and standards in relation to security.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Maintain status as an authorised signatory for all relevant UK airports
  • Collaborate with managers, applicants and external referencing agencies to submit applications for airport security passes within agreed SLAs
  • Responsible for all aspects of pass maintenance including but not limited to renewals, parking and un-parking, cancellation, recovery of un-surrendered passes, application for recharging of car parking and maintenance of ops lists
  • Communicate effectively to ensure all relevant parties are updated on the progress of pass applications and including producing and issuing weekly reports
  • Liaise with airport ID centres on all matters relating to security passes for TRG employees and relevant contractors
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of CAA, DFT and airport regulations and standards
  • Coach and provide guidance to managers on regulations and standards in relation to security passes and responsibilities
  • Keep comprehensive records on employee background checks in line with DFT regulations, airport standards and in accordance with GDPR requirements.

 

Required Experience: 

  • Minimum 12 months experience in an administrative role
  • Good written and oral communication skills are essential
  • You will be strategic; you will liaise with other departments to stay informed and will then plan with the ability to deliver to aspects of the business in need
  • You will possess initiative and problem-solving skills to approach new challenges
  • You will be able to work well under pressure and prioritise
  • A working knowledge of regulations in relation to airport security pass background checks would be advantageous but not essential
