Job Details

Building Safety Officer - Swansea

As a Building Safety Officer, you will work closely with the Venue Management Team ensuring a safe working environment for staff and all visitors to the venue, whilst delivering the highest standards of customer service, and helping to ensure that venue procedures and protocols are adhered to.

We welcome participants from all backgrounds to apply and appreciate transferable skills from other industries. Shifts within the live entertainment industry can be fast paced and varied, so a flexible, energetic and positive attitude is an essential attribute for all members of the venue team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this brand-new venue and ensure a warm welcome to the high-profile artists often bringing their events to Swansea for the first time!

Please download a copy of our job description for further details of the role and responsibilities. Experience from within the entertainment sector is not necessary and we actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry.

We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer, which means that we are taking action to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged and able to fulfil their potential in the workplace. We will offer an interview or recruitment event to disabled candidates who tell us they wish to participate in the scheme and who demonstrate in their application that they best meet the essential criteria for the role. Where we receive more applications than we are reasonably able to interview for any given role, we will retain applications for the next available interview opportunity wherever possible. If you’d like to discuss accessibility prior to applying, please email recruitment@theambassadors.com for a confidential discussion.

The Ambassador Theatre Group is a world leader in live entertainment; we operate venues, run major ticketing platforms and produce award-winning shows. We strive to be ambitious, passionate, smart and collaborative in everything we do. You'll be joining the company at an exciting time as we welcome audiences back in 2022.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to provide a stage for everyone. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture.
